Following breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed for local sightseeing of Delhi. The tour begins with the viewing of the various monuments located at different locations in Delhi which are credited as the finest examples of Mughal architecture whose marks can be seen everywhere in Delhi. Our first stop is Jama Masjid, the largest mosque of India where Muslims pray on every Friday in a very large number. After Jama Masjid, next, we move to Old Delhi, where a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk – the oldest and busiest market of Delhi is an important event of the itinerary. While riding on rickshaws you will get an opportunity to see a unique culture of old Delhi and daily routine of people is entirely different from New Delhi and rest of India. Next, we will see the Old Delhi, where we will drive through the 2km long red sandstone wall of Red Fort, which was built by Shah Jahan, when the capital of Mughals was shifted to Delhi from Agra. In the afternoon after visiting Old Delhi, we will take you to Typical Indian Restaurant, in the heart of Delhi Connaught place and after delicious lunch we move to New Delhi. Where first we will see Qutab Minar, that was began by the first Muslim emperor of India, Qutab-ud-din Aibak. Morning after breakfast pack up your bags and leave for the city famous for Rajputs and Mughal architecture called the Pink City in reference to its distinctly coloured buildings, which were originally painted this color to imitate the red sandstone architecture of Mughal cities. Rajasthan's beautiful Pink City Jaipur, was the stronghold of a clan of rulers whose three hill forts and series of palaces in the city are important attractions. After having early breakfast at the hotel, we will leave for the full day sightseeing of Jaipur city. The city is rich with its culture and heritage, one can see the modernity as well as the rich heritage here in people, their homes, there dressing, and everywhere. While driving, we will reach to the Amber Fort, surrounded beautifully by the Aravali hills, here you will be enjoy the elephant riding on his back having a feel of a royal family. While get back on your foot, to explore the fort from inside with guide. After exploring the Amber Fort, drive to the city monuments enroute visiting Jal Mahal in the Sagar Lake. Morning breakfast at the hotel and leave for Agra the city of seventh wonders, Enrotue visiting Abhaneri and Fatehpur sikri. Abhaneri was a gifted place of crafsmen and sculptures and their amazing art are till the part of the museums and art galleries. Carrying out the deep hindu mythology, chand baori is one most deepest well of the world. The well is built in the front of the Harshat Mata temple symbolizing its traditional and religious importance of the same. Chand Baori is 100 feet deep which involves 3500 narrow steps to reach the down water. Fatehpur sikri is a fascinating ghost city built in the 16th century; 37 km from Agra Akbar the great, who at 26 years did not have an heir, founded this historic site. Fatehpur Sikri He went to a saint, Shaikh Salim Chishti who lived in a city called Sikri. His blessing gave Akbar 3 sons. As a gesture, Akbar built a whole new city in Sikri. Akbar named his new capital Fatehpur Sikri or the City of Victory. Fatehpur Sikri is one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendour at its height. Visit Thousand Lights Mosque, Santhome Cathedral Basilica, Kapaleeswarar Temple, Parthasarathy Temple, Senate House, and Government Museum. Morning after breakfast complete day for visitng mahabalipuram. Mamallapuram is purely a tourist town and one of the major attractions around Chennai. The East Coast Road has made it easily accessible – just about an hour from the city. Shore Temple. The oldest structure in the area, build c. 700 AD, this temple has been here for more than 1400 years. Three of the Five Rathas, with an elephant standing guard Five Rathas (Pancha Pandava Rathas). As such the town has been dubbed “The Europe of India”. The town struggles to preserve what little remains of the ambiance once created by this unique mix of cultural heritage. Pondicherry is also a popular weekend destination The Sri Aurobindo Ashram is a well known spiritual ashram in India, with devotees and seekers from India and all over the world flocking to it for spiritual salvation. Auroville (City of Dawn) is an experimental township which is situated 8 km north-west of Pondicherry in East Coast Road. It was founded in 1968 by Mirra Alfassa (also known as The Mother), the spiritual collaborator of Sri Aurobindo Gandhi Statue is a four-meter statue of Mahatma Gandhi is surrounded by eight granite pillars, which were supposedly brought from Gingee, a fort some 70 km from Pondicherry. In the Morning after breakfast proceed by surface towards Madurai while visiting Trichy. Trichy is located at a distance of 55 km from Thanjavur. Trichy is a perfect fabric woven by the threads of tradition and modernity. Situated on the banks of the river Vaigai, this city is a prime learning and pilgrimage center which records numerous footfall every year. The famous attraction of this temple town is Meenakshi temples. Situated in the heart of the old town, it is the perfect manifestation of the Dravidian architecture with gopurams (towers) covered down the length with a spectacular cornucopia of vibrant images of gods, goddesses, animals and mythological figures. Morning breakfast at the hotel and proceed Madurai airport to board flight for Bangalore, On arrival pick up and transfer to hotel. Afternoon explore Bangalore, Lal Bagh is a botanical garden. The park is known for its annual flower show. The garden surrounds one of the towers erected by the founder of Bangalore, Kempe Gowda. Cubbon Park is located in the heart of the city and spreads over 300 acres (1.2 km2). The park was created in 1884, by Major General Richard Sankey. Bull Temple was built by Kempe Gowda I. It is reminiscent of the 16th-century Dravidian-style architecture. It has a huge granite monolith of Nandi. Bangalore Palace (1862) is located near Mekhri Circle and Cantonment Railway station and is built to look like a smaller replica of the Windsor Castle in England. Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace was built in 1791, is a two-storied ornate wooden structure with exquisitely carved pillars, arches and balconies. Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple is a temple known as Dakshina Kashi. The sun’s rays fall on the Shivalinga only on the day of Makara Sankranthi. Morning after breakfast at the hotel drive to Mysore enroute visit Srirangapatnam, The Srirangapatna fort continued to be the seat of the Mysore rulers and it was believed that whoever had control of the fort , would conduct the 10-day Navratri festival, and consequently rule over Mysore. When Hyder Ali usurped control of Mysore and later, when his son Tipu Sultan declared himself king, the fort continued to be the seat of power. Morning after breakfast we proceed to visit the city of Palaces Mysore first we will see Mysore Palace is a palace situated in the centre of the city. The Mysore Palace in the city is the most visited place in India, above Red Fort, Qutb Minar, and even the Taj Mahal as of 2006. After that we proceed to see Chamundi Hills is close to the palace city of Mysore. Its average elevation is 1,000 meters. A panoramic view of the city is seen from the top of the hills, including views of the Lalitha Mahal palace, Mysore Palace, Karanji and Kukkarahalli lakes. At dusk, the view of the city is especially beautiful, and on Sunday evenings and during the Dasara festival, the illuminated Mysore Palace glitters. In the morning, after breakfast proceed to Ooty, also known as Udhagamandalam, is the “Blue Mountains”and the capital of Nilgiris district. It is one of the most popular tourist resorts in India. It is a land of picturesque picnic spots. It is located at an altitude of 2,245 meters above sea level. Its way through many hair-raising curves, fearful tunnels and chugs along beside deep ravines full of verdant vegetation, small streams and tea gardens. On your arrival at Ooty check in to the hotel and evening proceed to Coonoor (1839 meters) 19 km from Ooty. Coonoor is the second largest hill station in the Nilgiris. It is surrounded by tea plantations, coupled with ravines, valleys, and waterfalls. A popular leisure here is bird watching. Coonoor is famous for variety of wildflowers and birds, like cormorants, pipits, thrushes, parakeets, skylarks, Nilgiri verditer vultures, eagles and owls, song birds, bulbuls, , babblers, larks cuckoos, robins and several others.
