On your arrival at Delhi’s international airport, you will be welcomed by our company representative he reach 1 hour before your flight lands in Delhi and he is eagerly waiting to welcome you at the airport in Indian traditional style with Tilaka (The Tilaka is normally a vermilion mark applied on the forehead. Following breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed for local sightseeing of Delhi. The tour begins with the viewing of the various monuments located at different locations in Delhi which are credited as the finest examples of Mughal architecture whose marks can be seen everywhere in Delhi. Our first stop is Jama Masjid, the largest mosque of India where Muslims pray on every Friday in a very large number. After Jama Masjid, next, we move to Old Delhi, where a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk – the oldest and busiest market of Delhi is an important event of the itinerary. While riding on rickshaws you will get an opportunity to see a unique culture of old Delhi and daily routine of people is entirely different from New Delhi and rest of India. Next, we will see the Old Delhi, where we will drive through the 2km long red sandstone wall of Red Fort, which was built by Shah Jahan, when the capital of Mughals was shifted to Delhi from Agra. In the afternoon after visiting Old Delhi, we will take you to Typical Indian Restaurant, in the heart of Delhi Connaught place and after delicious lunch we move to New Delhi. Where first we will see Qutab Minar, that was began by the first Muslim emperor of India, Qutab-ud-din Aibak. Next historical monument is Humayun's Tomb created by the widow of emperor Humayun after his death. Morning after breakfast pack up your bags and leave for the city famous for Rajputs and Mughal architecture called the Pink City in reference to its distinctly coloured buildings, which were originally painted this color to imitate the red sandstone architecture of Mughal cities. Rajasthan's beautiful Pink City Jaipur, was the stronghold of a clan of rulers whose three hill forts and series of palaces in the city are important attractions. Known as the Pink City because of the colour of the stone used exclusively in the walled city, Jaipur's bazaars sell embroidered leather shoes, blue pottery, tie and dye scarves and other exotic wares. Western Rajasthan itself forms a convenient circuit, in the heart of the Thar Desert which has shaped its history, lifestyles and architecture. After having early breakfast at the hotel, we will leave for the full day sightseeing of Jaipur city. The city is rich with its culture and heritage, one can see the modernity as well as the rich heritage here in people, their homes, there dressing, and everywhere. While driving, we will reach to the Amber Fort, surrounded beautifully by the Aravali hills, here you will be enjoy the elephant riding on his back having a feel of a royal family. While get back on your foot, to explore the fort from inside with guide. After exploring the Amber Fort, drive to the city monuments enroute visiting Jal Mahal in the Sagar Lake. Morning breakfast at the hotel and leave for Agra the city of seventh wonders, Enrotue visiting Abhaneri and Fatehpur sikri. Abhaneri was a gifted place of crafsmen and sculptures and their amazing art are till the part of the museums and art galleries. Carrying out the deep hindu mythology, chand baori is one most deepest well of the world. The well is built in the front of the Harshat Mata temple symbolizing its traditional and religious importance of the same. Chand Baori is 100 feet deep which involves 3500 narrow steps to reach the down water. Fatehpur sikri is a fascinating ghost city built in the 16th century; 37 km from Agra Akbar the great, who at 26 years did not have an heir, founded this historic site. Fatehpur Sikri He went to a saint, Shaikh Salim Chishti who lived in a city called Sikri. His blessing gave Akbar 3 sons. As a gesture, Akbar built a whole new city in Sikri. Akbar named his new capital Fatehpur Sikri or the City of Victory. Fatehpur Sikri is one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendour at its height. Early in the morning, gather in the lobby have tea /coffee and cookies and then we will proceed to the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders in the World. Here, from the parking area we will hop into the decorated Tonga (horse/camel cart) ride, which will take us to the entry gate of the Taj. Along with the guid, you will enter to have a first view of Taj Mahal, where it seems like a palace in clouds. Early morning after breakfast transfer to railway station to board the train to Jhansi. Arrive Jhansi and drive to Orchha, On arrival at Orchha check in at hotel. Later visit Khajuraho known for its grand palaces, intricately carved temples and striking forts, situated on banks of river Betwa Orchha is a city with a lot of historical significance and a photographers' paradise. The main attraction of Orchha is the Orchha fort complex, located on an island on River Betwa, having a number of palaces to visit within it. A four-arched bridge leads to the fort complex on the island. The Jahangir Mahal, which was built by Bir Singh Deo in the early part pf the 17th century to mark the visit of the Mughal Emperor, is an important monument of this fort, evening back to hotel for night stay.
Morning after breakfast drive to khajuraho On arrival at Khajuraho check in at hotel. Afternoon proceed to visit khajuraho. The temples have an amazing display of intricately carved statues. The arts cover numerous aspects of human life and values. The most visited temple, Kandariya Mahadev, has an area of about 6,500 square feet and a shikhara (spire) that rises 116 feet. It is huge compared to the other existing temples in the area. The Khajuraho temples are made of sandstone. But the most amazing fact is that the builders didn't use mortar. The stones were put together with mortise and tenon joints and they were held in place by gravity! There was some repair work that took place in the 19th Century with brick and mortar but surprisingly these newer stones have aged faster than original materials. Their color has darkened. They seem out of place. The sculpture has some very fine details that show details even the strands of hair, manicured nails and intricate jewellery. Early morning, we will be taken for a boat ride on the Ganges. It is a mystical and spiritual experience as you watch people offering water to the Sun God and devotees taking holy dip in the Ganges. We will visit all the famous ghats of Varanasi via boat. Come back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we will be taken for an excursion to Sarnath. Sarnath is the place where Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples. The attractions at Sarnath are the Buddha temples, the Dhamekha stupa, Chaukhandi stupa and the archaeological museum. After that, proceed for city tour to visit some temples on the Ghats, followed by the the Kashi Vishwanath Temple – one of the famous Hindu temple and is dedicated to Lord Shiva, where at least once in life a Hindu is expected to do pilgrimage, and if possible also pour the remains (ashes) of cremated ancestors here on the river Ganges. GATEWAY OF INDIA – The Gateway of India was built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary for the Delhi Durbar in 1911 when Delhi became capital of India. Situated at the Apollo Bunder, the gateway holds greater historical significance. The monument is complete with four turrets and intricate latticework carved into the yellow basalt stone. PRINCE OF WALES MUSEUM – The Prince of Wales museum Was built in the year 1914, it is surrounded by beautiful landscapes forming an ideal getaway. Morning after breakfast proceed to visit Ajanta caves the historical caves of Ajanta are situated at a distance of 6.5 kilometers from Fardapur, a village that is 101 kilometers in the northern direction of Aurangabad and just 55 kilometers from Jalgaon. There is a regular bus service to the caves up to the T-Junction which is 4 kilometers short of the caves. Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) offers accommodation in resorts near this junction and semi-luxury and regular accommodation at Fardapur. After that back to Aurangabad and visit the forts of Daulatabad and Khultabad, 16 and 24 kilometers from Aurangabad, are on the way to Ellora and are popular destinations in this region.
